Coming from a sporting background, always eager to partake in sports at school and sports such as Swimming, Dance and Netball within the community. I was visiting a Myotherapist for pain management caused by sport, this is when my passion and interest for wanting to work within the sporting and health industry became my focus.
After completing my VCE in 2020, I wasn’t sure where to start to get myself into the industries in which I wanted to work in, so I completed 12 months work in a local law firm completing my Certificate III in Business Administration. After this, I felt the books were calling for me and I started a University Degree in Health Science (Nutrition and Exercise) through UniSA. After 6 months of University study, I came to the conclusion that I needed hands on study and Myotherapy is the job I saw myself working in. Prior to completing a degree in Myotherapy within the next few years, I am completing my Diploma in Remedial Massage through Evolve College in Norwood, SA.
If I was asked to pick a part of the human body to work on, I would probably have to choose the back, this is an area with lots of incorporated muscles, and surface area to work across and treat. For someone with prior back issues, there is nothing better than having it treated and alleviating pain from the area.
During the week and on weekends, you will find me in 1 of 3 places – studying, working or spending time with friends and family.”
